Melissa (quickly renamed “Mel” just days after entering Austin, Texas) was always a natural party planner. Upon entry she immediately decided that she’d have to take advantage of all that the city had to offer. Lucky enough, she met plenty of others who had that craving as well. She happily accepted that “go-to planner” role from her new family, which naturally grew in size over the years. The requests for events and parties grew as well. and so she happily delivered.
A few years later at her “adult” job, it was suggested that she be appointed the Minister of Fun as a secondary title. Enter unicorns and mimosas.
Now 6 years after moving to Austin, she’s organizing parties and events for entrepreneurs, startups, and like-minded individuals who want to raise money for a good cause… or just want to raise hell out on the lake.
